Once a small hamlet 150 yrs ago this is the sole surviving building, a post office/general store.

The 3600 sq. ft retreat is located on the Bruce Trail with breathtaking views from the valley to Georgian Bay. We invite you to enjoy our unique and tranquil getaway with 6 bedrooms + sauna + salt water hot tub.

With 3 firepits, hiking, snowshoeing, x-country skiing trails, a trout pond and snowmobile/atv trail access, your outdoor adventure awaits.

The space

Escape to the rolling views and vistas and stay in our 3600 sq ft expansive and historic lodge property on 4 acres backing onto hundreds of km of trails, with an on site fish stocked pond and private sauna house. You're only 20-30 minutes to local ski hills such as Blue Mountain, Beaver Hill, Georgian Peaks, Toronto Ski Club, Alpine and Osler.

The building was moved to this location in the 1920’s when the dining/kitchen/upstairs bedrooms were added. The lower den and studio and wrap-around granite porch were all completed in the 1970’s.

The property was purchased in 1972 by Jack & Peggy Seed and was a primary vacation home for them, their children and grandchildren for many years. It has now been passed down to their Grandchildren Martin & Nick who have chosen to share it with you. We hope that you can enjoy it as they have for so many years.
